Pool Maintenance Technician

Grate Pools, Inc. is a well-established, high end pool/spa maintenance, renovation and construction company in the DMV area seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team, learn on the job, and expand with our company! Year-round employment (full and part time), pay of $22 to $35 an hour, (more for candidates with relevant experience), health benefits, 401k, paid time off and skill/knowledge development with promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of construction and renovation teams building pools, spas and fountains
• Diagnose/fix pool equipment/hardware/leak issues
• Clean pools using vacuums, maintenance equipment and nets; test and chemically treat pools based on test results
• Use mobile apps to maintain schedule and update accounts

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience building and renovating pools preferred
• Plumbing and concrete construction, and/or electrical systems experience a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload and daily construction labor, including carrying at least 50lbs to and from worksites multiple times a day
• Experience/familiarity with pool testing/chemicals/plumbing/pumps/electrical and opening/closing a plus
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
