Based in Wappingers Falls, NY, we’re seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Pool Installation Foreman to lead and coordinate the construction and installation of residential and commercial Vinyl/Gunite pools throughout the scenic Hudson Valley. Our projects range in value from $50,000 to $3,000,000, offering opportunities to manage high-end installations from start to finish.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines field work with crew supervision and project coordination. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for advancement, and year-round employment. During the winter season, our installation team supports our holiday décor division, making this a full-year position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct all phases of pool construction and installation, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency from excavation through final inspection
- Supervise, coach, and schedule crew members, including assigning tasks and ensuring work meets company standards
- Coordinate daily workflow, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and change orders
- Conduct on-site problem solving to minimize delays and ensure project completion within scope and budget
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and enforce all safety protocols
- Communicate regularly with project managers, suppliers, and customers regarding status, concerns, and schedule changes
- Keep detailed job logs, track material usage, and report progress
- Perform installation work when necessary, including setting steel, plumbing, and equipment
- Assist with installation of holiday lights and décor in the off-season
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of pool construction and installation experience
- Previous experience supervising crews and managing job sites
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Valid US driver’s license
- Professional demeanor; dependable and reliable
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Flexibility with schedule, willingness to work overtime as needed
