Swim Instructor

In this rewarding role, you will be inspired daily to be your best by both your MSB Aquatics team and your students.

You'll be part of our team of instructors providing private, semi-private swim instruction and competitive group practice training at our new boutique-style aquatic center in Celina, TX. You will enhance our clients' experience through your high-quality teaching and implementation of the My Swim Buddy Aquatics Learn-To-Swim Methodology and other specialty programs.

Your top priority will be to provide a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment that students and families look forward to returning to season after season. You'll be responsible for implementing the MSB Learn-to-Swim methodology and using our swim tools effectively. You will provide individualized instruction for varying ages that meets participants' interests, abilities, and goals. You will teach students proper techniques and promote safer swimming skills.

Additionally, you will provide communication with parents about student progress and skills needing more practice. Your ability to communicate effectively with our families is vital to maintaining our long-term relationships and supporting our students as they reach new swim cap achievement levels each season.

Qualifications:

• Current First Aid & Infant & Adult CPR/AED certification required.

• Previous teaching or coaching experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to demonstrate patience, reliability, and compassion.

• Basic computer and smartphone skills.

• Ability to demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to keep students focused, attentive, and on task while keeping lessons fun.
