Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Pool Maintenance Technician to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and optimal operation of clients' swimming pools. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional service to homeowners. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with pool systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces
• Test and adjust water chemistry to ensure proper chemical levels and sanitation
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using hand tools and power tools
• Maintain detailed service records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Identify potential issues early and recommend appropriate solutions to clients
• Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Prior experience in pool maintenance is desired, but will train the right person.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment repair and troubleshooting is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing is highly desirable
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools is necessary
• Ability to work independently while managing route efficiently
• Must be professional and courteous

Starting pay with no direct experience is $16 per hour
